MerryGoRound is an aggregated holding company, based out of Virginia. Its founders are operators and entrepreneurs, who have played in specific business niches – through those niches they have grown some interesting operating entities. Over the years, we’ve purchased, incubated and maintained brands in the ecommerce, logistics, real estate, distribution and service providing industries, adding them into our little family of companies. 

We focus on permanent capital allocation while deploying at scale in industries that we understand and have a competitive advantage within. We like to purchase good companies, with great operators at their helm – bringing them to their forever home and aligning incentives in ways that encourage and edify all involved. To quote Warren Buffet “our favorite holding period is forever.” We are agnostic to industry, willing to diligence any quality operation, and flexible on location. With presences in Washington, Virginia, North Carolina, Connecticut, California, Montana and overseas, we are willing to look beyond our typical homebases for where we allocate resources as we collect great people and businesses.  

Our timeline is permanent – with multi-generational decision making as our north star, we don’t get caught up in the next quick exit or how to pump up quarterly reporting. We allocate our resources to support sustainable and valuable growth with a focus on future free cash flows.
